Cave racer snake (Orthriophis taeniura ridleyi) in the entrance to the Racer Cave waiting to catch bats and swiftlets in Gunung Mulu National Park, Sarawak, Malaysian Borneo.
The cave racer (Elaphe taeniura) is the only snake which is adapted to spend its whole life in a cave, feeding exclusively on bats and swiftlets. It is non-venomous.
