Reflection of western hemlock (Tsuga heterophylla) and Sitka spruce (Picea sitchensis) temperate rain forest festooned with usnea or old man’s beard (Usnea longissima) in a beaver pond, near Petersburg, Mitkof Island, Southeast Alaska, USA.
As this beaver pond was quite near Petersburg I was able to observe them quite often here.
